Recently, WRD sent a team of technical engineers to a customer's factory in Vietnam to carry out the on-site installation and commissioning of a straightener we had exported earlier. The straightener plays a vital role in pipe production lines. By applying carefully controlled mechanical pressure, it removes bending and distortion that may occur during forming, welding, and cooling, ensuring that finished pipes meet the required straightness and dimensional accuracy.
After arriving at the site, our engineers worked closely with the customer's local team. They followed detailed technical drawings and operating procedures step by step, starting from machine foundation alignment and mechanical assembly to connecting hydraulic and electrical systems. Every step was performed with precision. During the commissioning phase, they repeatedly adjusted roller gaps, hydraulic pressure settings, and control parameters to achieve optimal performance. They tested the machine with different pipe sizes to verify its stability and efficiency under various production conditions.
In addition, our engineers provided comprehensive training to the customer's operators and maintenance staff. They explained routine inspection checklists, lubrication schedules, and how to quickly identify and fix common issues. This hands-on training helped the customer's team gain the confidence to run the equipment safely and independently.
The customer was very satisfied with the entire process and praised our engineers for their technical expertise and responsive service.
