As TOP 10 STEEL COMPANIES IN THE WORLD, JIANLONG GROUP is the largest private-owned enterprise in Tangshan, Hebei province. It is a large enterprise group integrating new industries such as resources, steel, shipbuilding and electromechanical. At present, the company has a mining and beneficiation capacity of 44.3 million tons of ore (iron, copper, molybdenum, vanadium, phosphate, etc.), a smelting and rolling capacity of 40 million tons of crude steel, a shipbuilding capacity of 1.5 million tons of dead weight, a manufacturing capacity of 15 million kw explosion-proof motors and wind turbines, a smelting capacity of 15,000 tons of Vanadium pentoxide, and a production capacity of 3.6 million tons of coke.

WRD has cooperated with Heilongjiang Jianlong and designed 3 hot dipped galvanizing lines for this strong enterprise in February 2021, which can process round, square and rectangular pipes from 1/2" to 8" with total annual output 1,000,000 tons. The round-to-square tube mill line in Yinchuan, Gansu province, is the latest erected cooperation project with Jianlong Group. After several days of installation and trial run, the tube mill line is proved to be running well.

Advantages of pushing square technology:

1. The steel pipe changes from round to square and the rectangular pipe starts from the Turks-head. The four corners are evenly stressed, the R angle is consistent, and the pipe type is beautiful;

2. Using the pushing square technology can save electricity about 10% -15%;

3. Using the pushing square technology, only the Turks-head is involved in the deformation, which can save 20% of the roller loss

4. The pipes produced using the pushing square technology have a relatively high straightness. Due to their participation in straightening during forming process, the internal stress release of the product is relatively sufficient during forming process. So after the production of the finished pipes is completed, the amount of bending change during later processing and use is low.
