WRD High-Tech has recently completed the design, manufacturing, and final assembly of a high-precision steel tube production line dedicated to electric vehicle (EV) battery enclosure applications. The equipment is fully assembled and ready for shipment to the customer's site.
This production line is specifically engineered for precision steel tubes used in EV battery cases (Precision Steel Tube for Battery Enclosure). It delivers outstanding dimensional accuracy, stable welding quality, and extremely low ovality tolerance, fully meeting the stringent requirements of battery pack structural components. The line adopts advanced ERW (Electric Resistance Welding) tube mill technology, combined with intelligent online monitoring systems, ensuring full-process automation from uncoiling, forming, and welding to sizing and cutting.
As the EV industry moves toward lightweight structures and higher safety standards, steel-based battery enclosure solutions are gaining increasing attention. Compared with alternative materials, precision steel tube structures offer an optimal balance of cost efficiency, mechanical strength, and manufacturing stability. This production line is widely applicable to battery tray structural components, side reinforcement beams, and high-strength protective tube manufacturing.
