WRD have designed and installed dozens of tube mills for Korean companies in the past decade. And this is the first direct-forming square pipe mill that WRD installed in Korea.

The company have stick quality requirements on their products, and most of their pipes are exported to Europe and North America. They wanted to cast away the old round-to-square pipe production line and introduce new technology and producing lines.

According to the company’s high requirement and targeting market, WRD gave professional opinions on plant layout and pipe line solutions. After repeated modifications and confirmations of the solutions, WRD began to manufacture the WDFW200 direct-forming square pipe mill line.

After efficient and orderly manufacturing cycle, WRD deliver the mill line with professional transportation. At the mean time, WRD also sent experienced project engineers to the factory for installation and commissioning and provided basic skills training for the workers of the company.

During two week’s installation and commissioning, the pipe mill line can produce steel pipes successfully and precisely. The estimated output of this new mill line is 40,000 tons per year, aims to produce square and rectangular pipes up to 200*200mm for pressure applications and ordinary uses in steam, water, structure and so on.
