Tianjin Youfa Steel Pipe Group was established in July 2000 with its headquarters located in Daqiuzhuang, Tianjin. It is a large enterprise group that integrates the production and sales of straight welded pipe, hot galvanized steel pipe, square galvanized steel pipe, plastic-coated composite pipe, spiral welded pipe and other products.

As one of the top 500 Chinese enterprises and the top 500 Chinese manufacturing enterprises, its annual output of steel pipe reaches up to 14 million tons. Youfa has two brands -- "Youfa" and "Zheng Jin Yuan". And it has maintained the first steel pipe production and sales in China for 10 consecutive years.

Youfa now has more than 160 production lines. There are 59 ERW pipe mill lines and 34 hot-dipped galvanizing lines in Tianjin Plant alone.

The slowly manual packing is very hard to keep up with its enormous capacity. And in the process of hoisting the steel pipe, it is easy to cause scratch on the pipe surface, which affects the aesthetics of the steel pipe. This seriously affects the efficiency of the whole production line.

WRD has the privilege of cooperating with Youfa to design automatic pipe packing lines to improve the speed and the quality of steel pipe packaging to match its strong production capacity. WRD engineers gave professional solutions and line layout drawings. After validating the solution, WRD opened the fast delivery mode. After the tight manufacturing cycle, we sent experienced engineers to the factory for installation and commissioning.

Automatic Packing Lines

WRD has designed and installed 9 automatic packing lines for Youfa since 2017. These packing lines can pack round pipes from 21.3-219.1mm and square pipes from 20*20 to 200*200mm. The packing speed is 3 times faster than manual packing, which greatly improves the later processing speed. And the automatic packing line makes no noise and no scratches.
